Digital Content & Studio Coordinator

About the Role (Junior Level)

GK Media Studios is seeking a motivated, creative, and hands-on Digital Content & Studio Coordinator to join our growing team in Galway.

This is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary role ideal for someone who wants to build a career across podcasting, video production, social media, and digital content creation.

You’ll work across studio recordings, on-location shoots, editing, and social media content — while also supporting the growth of our media skills training division - Digital Training Hub.

Key Responsibilities

🎙️ Podcast & Studio Management

  • Assist in the day-to-day running of our podcast studios

  • Set up and manage recording equipment (audio & video)

  • Support clients during studio sessions

  • Help maintain studio organisation and workflows

🎥 Video Production & Attending Shoots

  • Attend and assist on video shoots (studio & on-location)

  • Support camera, audio, lighting, and general production setup

  • Work closely with the team to deliver high-quality content

  • Take initiative on shoots and contribute creatively

✂️ Editing & Content Creation

  • Edit video and audio content for clients and internal projects

  • Create short-form social media content (Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn clips)

  • Assist in developing creative ideas from concept to delivery

  • Ensure content is engaging, on-brand, and delivered on time

📱 Social Media Management Support

  • Create and schedule content for social media clients

  • Assist with planning weekly/monthly content calendars

  • Upload and manage content across platforms

  • Monitor performance and support ongoing improvements

🎓 Digital Training Hub (DTH)

  • Support the development and delivery of training programmes

  • Assist with course setup, promotion, and administration

  • Help create content and materials for training sessions

  • Contribute ideas to grow the DTH offering and community

What We’re Looking For

✅ Essential

  • A strong interest in video, podcasting, and content creation

  • Basic experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)

  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment

💡 Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience with podcast recording or audio editing

  • Knowledge of cameras, lighting, and production equipment

  • Familiarity with design softwares like Canva / Adobe Suite

  • A strong knowledge of best practices across leading social media platforms

  • Interest in filmmaking, storytelling, or digital marketing

Location & Hours

Galway (studio-based with on-location shoots)

  • €15 per hour

  • 35 hours per week

  • 5 Days per week (inc. Saturday)
